I'm really excited. A friend already lives in the building and recommended the apartments. Initially I didn't really care for the place, they showed me a 800 square feet apt and I just wasn't feeling it. Especially considering my friends apt is 1000 sq ft and cheaper than the 800. When I was leaving another guy who works there stopped me showed me the 1136 sq ft apt... I feel in love. It has much more space and storage. And oddly enough my new place is on the same floor and literally doors down from my friends. I'm soooo excited about lounging at the pool every weekend all summer.

This sounds awesome (I just stumbled upon your blog). I live on my own as well and I even have a small urban vegetable garden on my terrace. No pool though, I´d love that!! Enjoy it :) You´ll love the independence; sharing with flatmates is fun but not so much as having a place for you only and organize dinners with friends and girls´ night in watching movies whenever you wish.

Um, my friend Elegante is getting married in September and I'm using it as an excuse to come down and lay by the pool with you. I will start working out and tanning now so as not to scare/blind you then.
