Last night.

It's the last night in my house and I can't wait for this to be over. I've enjoyed every second of this house though and wish I could stay forever. However... the new place will bring new adventures. And I truly can't wait to get unpacked. I don't like feeling uncomfortable in my own house and I have been, boxes aren't the most idyllic decor. I leave with many great memories. One of my favorite nights in the house.. cupcake dance party:

ART!

Baxter had an art show last night. It was so fun. There was art, fire breathers, crazy preforming artist, horrible music, bad beer... One of the best shows ever! I didn't get a chance to snap a picture of Baxter's art as my camera is missing a key element in making it work, the whole thing.. I can't find it, yikes! But it was really good.

St. Patty's day

Wednesday is game night with my group of friends. Julia the master chef cooks a wonderful family meal than we proceed to play board games all night. Although we usually end up fighting over cheating and rules we generally have a marvelous time. Last night was no exception. Julia cooked an authentic Irish dish and we played Monopoly.

I spend 8 hours a day around mortgages and yet lost.. big time! Speaking of work, I didn't wear green but this guy did!

Yes, those are shamrock pants! I love to see people get in the spirit of things. I decorated my cubical for the holidays and got rave reviews. I should do it for every holiday!

I'm really excited. A friend already lives in the building and recommended the apartments. Initially I didn't really care for the place, they showed me a 800 square feet apt and I just wasn't feeling it. Especially considering my friends apt is 1000 sq ft and cheaper than the 800. When I was leaving another guy who works there stopped me showed me the 1136 sq ft apt... I feel in love. It has much more space and storage. And oddly enough my new place is on the same floor and literally doors down from my friends. I'm soooo excited about lounging at the pool every weekend all summer.

Wrapping it up.

I've finally begun packing. It's crazy how much I've accumulated since moving into this house. Great thing about packing is purging all the unnecessary items I've found, VHS player anyone?

I went shopping for some new furniture yesterday. I'm not bringing any of my current furniture with me to my new spot. My furniture now are old hand me downs from a friend. They have lasted me 3 years and I defiantly appreciate the fact they where free, but it's time for them to go. I'd like to keep my selections simple and modern. No luck so far. I've got some time though.

But alas I must get back to packing. I've done so much yet so little.
